Cey-Nor Foundation Ltd. utilized the aid received from NORGES GODTEMPLAR UNGDOMS FORBUND (NGU) a Norwegian Non -Governmental Organization and started the fiberglass vessel manufacturing in Sri Lanka in 1967.

The Foundation is the pioneer in fiberglass vessel manufacturing in the country. The Foundation is a fully government owned company, giving the advantage of possessing a remarkable number of fishing and tourism fleets in the country. Cey -Nor holds this prestige, known for its experience.

Like many other countries which have utilized this theme under various nomenclatures, Sri Lanka has adopted SDG 14 under four prospects: extraction of living resources, non - living resources, passenger, goods and transportation, maritime security and marine environmental protection. Our development takes place through these four prospects ; this we have bannered as our main mission. We truly believe that while making use of the resources available to us, we must also protect what we have for future generations.
